Royal Academy “The Sound of Music” is a music school conveniently located on the border of Monterey Park and Montebello.We offer private (one-on-one) lessons in piano, violin, cello, guitar, voice, viola, drums, clarinet, saxophone, flute and oboe.When it comes to learning a musical instrument we strongly believe that the only practical way of learning is to have a private lessons, this is why we do not offer group lessons. We teach the way we have been trained.

However we offer some group classes such as; Children’s Choir, Music Theory and Rock Band.

Our experienced and patient teachers are professionals with Master’s and Doctorate Degrees from the best Universities and Conservatories around the world. Most of our teachers have Russian music educational background and they are all dedicated to provide highest quality of music lessons.

Here, at Royal Academy your kids will have numerous performing opportunities, such as Monthly School Recitals, Annual Christmas Concert, State Examinations (Certificate of Merit) trough MTAC (Music Teachers Association of California), ABRSM Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Examinations, National and International Competitions, Music Festivals, Master-Classes with world renowned artists etc……

Our goal is to bring music to daily life of our community.
